Inovit is operated by Inovriksha Tech Pvt. Ltd., LIG-891, K-4, Kalinga Nagar Lane 4, Near Shiv Temple, Bhubaneswar, Khordha, Odisha – 751019, India (GSTIN: 21AAJCI0013P1ZT). We are the Data Fiduciary for personal data processed through the platform, under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act"). This policy explains what we collect, why, and your rights.
1. Data we collect
- Account data: your name, work email, agency name, subdomain, and plan — provided at signup.
- Workspace data you add: client companies and contacts, content and media, invoices and payments, employees, attendance and payroll details, tasks, support tickets and chat messages.
- Credential vault data: third-party logins (e.g. social-media accounts) you or your clients store. These are encrypted and only used to perform actions you explicitly trigger.
- Usage & technical data: login times, pages visited, device/browser type, IP address — used for security, debugging and product improvement.
- Payment data: billing name, GSTIN and transaction references. Card/UPI credentials are processed by our payment partner (Razorpay) and are never stored by us.
- Communications: emails and WhatsApp messages you exchange with our support or retention system.
2. How we use it (purpose & consent)
- To provide, secure and improve Inovit; to bill you and issue GST invoices.
- To send service emails (trial reminders, retention nudges, payment and security alerts). Marketing emails are only sent with your consent and can be unsubscribed anytime.
- WhatsApp notifications (e.g. client approval alerts, voice-note feedback) are sent only where you or your client has opted in.
- We do not sell personal data, and we do not use your workspace content to train AI models.
3. Who we share data with
- Hosting & infrastructure: our servers and object storage providers (currently Contabo), who process data only on our instructions.
- Payments: Razorpay, for billing and reconciliation.
- Messaging/email: our SMTP/email provider and WhatsApp business API provider, for notifications you opt into.
- Legal: where required by Indian law or a lawful order.
All processors are bound by contracts requiring them to protect your data and use it only for the stated purpose.
4. Your rights (DPDP Act, 2023)
- Access & correction: view and correct your personal data from your account settings, or write to us.
- Erasure: request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention duties (e.g. tax invoices must be kept 8 years under GST law).
- Withdraw consent: opt out of marketing emails and WhatsApp notifications anytime; withdrawing consent for essential processing means we can no longer provide the service.
- Grievance redressal: write to info@inovrikshatech.com (Grievance Officer, Inovriksha Tech Pvt. Ltd.) — we respond within 72 hours and resolve within 15 days. You may also approach the Data Protection Board of India.
5. Data retention
Workspace data is kept while your account is active and for at least 90 days after cancellation so you can export it. Tax and accounting records are retained as required by Indian law. Encrypted backups may persist up to a further 90 days.
6. Security
- HTTPS everywhere; encrypted credential storage; role-based access (agency / team / client).
- Platform support access to your workspace is grant-based, time-limited, revocable by you, and audit-logged.
- In case of a personal-data breach we will notify you and the Data Protection Board as required by law.
7. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies (login sessions, security) and basic analytics cookies. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
8. Children's data
Inovit is a business product and is not directed at children. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Changes
Material changes to this policy are notified by email at least 15 days before taking effect. The current version is always available at inovit.inovrikshatech.com/privacy/.
